Is ther a way to automatically insert a continuation heading?? Ple

I am setting up a template for a technical doc and is numbered as folows:

Section 1 General Contract Conditions.
1.1 title
body of text

1.2 title
body of text

1.3 title
body of text
-------------------------------------------------------------page break
What i want to do is if the body of text goes to a new page because of
adding or deleting of information i would like it to automatically insert a
headind at the top of the new page like the following

1.3 title cont.

Could there be a way to write a macro for this or am i dreaming?

Possibly, but you're more likely to get VBA help in one of the word.vba NGs.
