is there a desktop interactive background monthly calendar availab

It would be good for me whenever I turn on my computer, the desktop would
appear as a monthly calendar and i could see my schedule for the day there.
that I could access it and input and delete times and locations as required.
I don't want to click in to outlook or some other program to bring up a
calendar. I want it as an interactive desktop background.

Does a desktop calendar already exist? Where. what are the steps to make
it work on my computer. Thanks.
