Is there a [Global] Set Web Page Margin†option?
I have found that setting the Margin option to 0 gets rid of the small white space at the top and left. This is exactly what I want; however, I have to set this per page for each new page I add. Is there a way to set this somewhere so that each new Page I create automatically receives a 0 margin? If so, where would I find this?

I am using the Shared Boarder option and the same Theme applied to all pages. All other options are default.

Thanks in advance,

If you have FP2003:

1. Display the Themes Task bar.
2. Right-click your Theme and choose Customize.
3. Continue with step 4 below.

If you have FP2002:

1. Choose Theme from the Format menu.
2. Under Apply Theme To, select your Theme. Then, click
the Modify button.
3. Continue with step 4 below.

For either version, continue as follows.

4. Click Text, and then More Text Styles.
5. When the Styles dialog box appears, make sure the
List box is set to User-Defined Styles.
6. Under Styles, select Body.
7. Click Modify, Format, and Paragraph.
8. Under Indentation, set Before Text and After Text
to 0.
9. Under Spacing, set Before and After to 0.
10. Click OK, OK, OK, and OK.
11. Click Save.
12. If a dialog box appears telling you that the Theme
is read-only, save the modified Theme under a new
name. Then, apply the newly-named Theme to your Web.

Thanks Jim for the detailed and very easy instructions to follow. I followed each instruction and re-applied the theme. Still, when I click on the new page icon, the page has the while space to the top and left of the shared border. Right clicking on the page and setting the Page Properties; Margins to 0/0 removes it.

I went back into the theme to make sure the setting per your instructions were saved and they were. I even set the theme to ‘none†and back to my theme and re-apply just to make sure.

Any ideas?

Found it!
Thanks again Jim.

I had not been using the “Apply using CSS†option before. Checking it applied the changed you listed. All exactly as I need now. Thanks again.

I’ve not had much experience with CSS, read a little, but your detail instructions pointing me to the “Styles†made me realize that this item probably needed to be checked.

You can modify your default new page template to always include specific page margins
In Windows Explorer Search for and edit normal.htm - usually in:
FP2003:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033\PAGES11\normal.tem
or for prior version in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033\PAGES\normal.tem
