I cant add any more characters after my mailto: in Frontpage 2003? Is there a
limit? I want to do a mass email.

You can't do a mass mail, FP will only send to one address and that address
usually has to be in the same domain as the website.

That's using the FP form, but not a standard mailto hyperlink.

There has to be other ways, such as doing a mail out from your email
program.

However on a web page, you assumably can separate recipients such as:
mailto:[email protected];[email protected]; (e-mail address removed) etc - separated
with semi-colons.

I don't know how many (depends on your definition of a "mass mail
out").....but too many would be considered spam. My firewall can limit the
number of emails I can send in one go hence, if a worm/virus/trojan tries to
use my email to send email out from my machine my firewall will alert me if
the number of recipients is more than "x".

The address list in a mailto may be limited to 248 characters, including
the separators (; or ,) between addresses. If you are adding
parameters, such as subject= or body= , then these will be included in
the 248 characters.
