Of course, I become frustrated with many of the "interactive" tests, because
they tend to ignore keyboard shortcuts.
KB shortcuts are far more efficient than moving one's hand from keyboard to
mouse and back to the keyboard again.

Couldn't agree more, which is why I now use an apple, keyboard shortcuts so
much more efficient. Don't know why I bother with a mouse anymore, habit I
suppose.

An interactive test is a better gauge of proficiency than a paper
test. There are several companies who offer various forms of testing.
