Is There a play writing template for word?

Is there a play writing template for word? One in which the character name
is separated on a separate line or by space from the dialog.

I'm sure there is one, and you can Google for it. But it's one of the
easiest types of template to create yourself.

Your reply assumes that I share your ability and interest in solving problems in Word. I do not have that ability. I also tried google but perhaps I am not skolled enough to phrase the question correctly as I did not receive any useful answers.

I believe that with all the dramatists out there someone must be using Word
to write plays and I was hoping for an already invented solution. hgross

Try "screenplay template" or screenwriting template. You are more likely to
find the already invented solution on the Web than in this newsgroup. But
most professional dramatists probably use specialized screenwriting
software.

Googling for "Word playwriting template" turns up, e.g.,
http://www.robinkelly.btinternet.co.uk/resource.htm One of the templates
listed is linked to Microsoft's Office Template Gallery
(http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/default.aspx), but the
referenced template apparently no longer exists. I have not investigated any
of the others.

The info gave me the formats for several kinds of writing plus an easy way
to construct a template.
