is there a shortcut key for this

Hi,

Let's say I want to select all the cells from A5 down to the end of the
A column where the last cell is A900.

Can I click on A5 and hit some particular shortcut key or combination
of keys that will highlite the entire rest of the column?

TIA

Hi,

It is not clear what you mean. But suppose you mean the entire column, then
the key is Ctrl+Spacebar. If you mean that there is solid data between
A5:A300, then you can press Shift+Ctrl+Down Arrow while in cell A5. If the
range between A5 and A300 is a mix of empty cells and cells with data, then,
with the cursor in A5, click the Name Box and type A300 and press Shift+Enter.

That Shift+Ctrl+Down Arrow shortcut was JUST what I needed.

Thanks.
