I am having some problems finding a simple template to use to label my jewel
case, especially with info on the side (or spline) of the case. Anybody know
of any templates which work for this?

Avery Design Pro which is free from the Avery Site is a standalone
label printing utility. It does have templates for CD's, Inserts AND
spines.
