Is there a template to use in Word 2002 that fits WorkSaver 5 tab full sheets?

Hi,

I've been unsuccessful making a word template that will let me fill in the
tab sheets that came with the 3 hole tab sheets I bought at Staples.

They have these directions printed on them for Word 6 and 7, but nothing for
word 2002.

It says goto tools - Env & Lables - options - product numer list - and
then...

it says "Click on WorkSaver 5-tabs" and I find I do not have that option
listed.

There are also manual instructions for working in other word processors, but
that's for printing whole sheets of a single tab item. I have to have a
different name on each tab.

So if anybody can tell me where I can find a templete for handeling this I
would be most appreciative.

Thanks,

Sammy

Hi, Sammy,

Starting in Word 2000 the label options don't say "WorkSaver", but the
option labeled "Divider Tab Inserts 5 - Tabs" seems to be the same
definition.

To be able to make all the entries different, don't type anything in the
Address box of the Labels dialog, but click the New Document button instead
of Print. This creates a document containing a table, where each cell is the
right size and position for one label. If you can't see the (nonprinting)
lines around the cells, click the menu item Table > Show Gridlines.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for the reply! I tried it here at home just now using your
instruction, but it isn't the right one for the blanks that came with the
dividers. My blanks only have 2 columns in them, and the one you suggested
had 4.

But!

I got lucky. I have an old P200 dell collecting dust so I fired it up. It
has word 97 on it, and sure enough, it had the template.
I copied it to a floppy, took it to work, and loaded it into Word there.
Viola! Worked like a charm.

Thanks again for taking the time to help with this.

Sammy

ps: if anybody wants this template I can email it to you.
