Is there a way not to save something in Onenote?

I am a teacher and would like to use Onenote in combination with m
tablet to prepare notes. I wanted to be able to make annotations "over
my prepared notes, and then quickly erase these annotations so I coul
again use a blank template for my next class - It doesn't seem possibl
because Onenote autosaves everything. Any suggestions or workarounds
Thank

Google sratchpad attached to google desktop can be a good work around
outside the onenote.. why not getting to learn how to 'select all and
delete' that would take some time to become intuitive ..

Make a copy the pages where the original notes reside. Work on the copies
and then delete them after your class. This is what I could think of.

It's actually pretty simple.

1) Create the page that you want to work from (before annotations).
2) Right-mouse-click on that page tab, and select 'Page Setup..."
3) In the 'Page Setup' task pane that appears, click 'Save current page as a
template' at the bottom.
4) In the box that opens, give your template a name, and check 'Set as
default template for new pages in the current section'.

That's it! Any time you create a new page, it'll be your template! If you
are in a different section of your notebook, and you want to use it, click
the drop-down arrow next to the 'new page' icon above the page tabs. You'll
see a partial list of templates, with 'More Template Choices and Options..."
at the bottom. Clicking that opens the 'Templates' task pane. The very
first set of choices is 'My Templates' -- your template will be there. You
can also set it as the default template for that section in the task page,
under "Choose default template".

I hope this was helpful, and not too confusing! If you need further help,
please let me know!

Take care,
Joe
