Is there a way to copy text from screen clippings in OneNote?

Hi,

As above, is there anyway I can copy text from a screen clipping to say, MS
Word, instead of using it as a picture?

You can righclick on the clipping and select "copy words from picture".
This will run OCR, so the results may not be exact, and will depend on
how clear the text in the image is.

Just to be exact: OCR will be performed before that (at least if the
feature of *automatic OCR is not disabled)

Copying text just makes use of the text layer behind the image.

Yes, but it works pretty well. My reference when presenting ON and its
great features is a scanned page form music CD booklet which has white
text on a picture with a very dark background.
Although the font size of the original is app. 8 pt, the text resulting
from copying from the image in ON is more than 90% correct.
