Is there a way to set the prompt before opening again?

For certain file types I check the box in order not to see the prompt.
Is there a way to uncheck to see the prompt window again?

Yes, in the File Types attributes for the type of file for which you want a
prompt. Control Panel>Folder Options>File Types. Locate the file type,
click Advanced. There's a check box there labeled "Confirm open after
download". Check that box.
