Is there a way to update table data using a pivot table type view?

I can get exactly what I want to see in pivot table view for the employees to
update a table in Access, but that pivot table will not let me update the
data. Is there a way for me to get this data view in an updatable query?

I have another question in this community (more detailed) on this subject
but have not received any answers? The users do not want to scroll through
the data in the table view for groups of data that will all be updated
similarly...

I am at a loss and any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
