Is there an add in that I need to open a .wps file in Word 2003

I have a network installation of MS Office 2003 Pro and cannot open a wps
file with Word 2003. Is there an addin that should be included that I do not
have?

Word includes a filter for current Works versions, but for older versions
you'll need an older filter - see the link at
