I need to number columns with abreviatations netx to them, i have been doing
this manually for a while and want to find a faster way. Please help me!!

I don't know what your numbering entails, but Edit/Fill/Series allows you to
fill a column with sequential numbers. Check Help for more information if it
sounds useful.
