Is there an easier way to move around on a drawing?

Using the scroll bars is a hassle. Using a "hand" like in Streets and Trips
to grap the page and move it is much easier and intuitive.

Try the Pan and Zoom Window. View>>Pan and Zoom Window

Hold down the Control and Shift keys. Press the right mouse button and drag
it to pan the drawing.
