Word allows you to create your own shortcut to use the accent á, however in
outlook the only way to do this is by...

Press and hold the <Alt> key and then press 0225. When you release the
<Alt> key an á will appear.

This is neither a Word nor an Outlook newsgroup. This is a Microsoft ACCESS
newsgroup. Did you bother looking at this newsgroup before posting a
message to it?

You can install a foreign keyboard, even if your physical keyboard is
english only. Ask in a more appropriate newsgroup to know what are your
options for a particular language.

Creating a shortcut or holding the <Alt> and pressing number are really
things of the past.

Rick B - you shouldn't have wasted your time responding to my accidental post
to the wrong group. This was the first time trying to use the help function.
