Is there an Excel viewer PC to Mac?

I'd like to share an PC Excel Workbook with someone that has a MAC. Will the
WinXP Excel Viewer work?

No, but there is a free office program ported to Mac

http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/

openoffice can open excel files
