Is there an Outlook backup tool for *.pst AND (!) address book/account/registy settings

A lot of backup utilities offer only backup functionality for the *.pst folder.
Is there a tool which offers additionally a backup of the current adress book and account
settings which are stored in the registry?

Or how about "copy N paste". It has always worked for me. After all, it's
only a file.

Hi,

I assume that you work on Outlook 2002 or later versions of Outlook.
There is an addin that microsoft offers for the purpose of taking a backup
of the pst for all the versions of Outlook like Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002
and Outlok 2003.

As far as I know, there is no way to back up the account settings of Outlook
directly. However, there is a workwround for this. You can go ahead and open
Outlook Express on your computer and then you would be prompted telling that
a new account has been detected and if you would like to import. Import and
hence the account settings will be there in Outlook Express. Hence, teh
Account setings are backed up in Outlook Express. From there, you can get
the account settings into outlook whenever you want thro the import export
wizard.

Hope this helps !!!

There is no "address book". It's your Contacts folder and so is backed up
by backing up the PST.
and account settings which are stored in the registry?

Regedit's export function seems to do this well enough.

Yes. It's called "Outlook Express Backup Restore"-shareware.

Now why would a utility for backing up Outlook Express help in any way with
backing up Outlook?
