is there an x64 update for office so the spell check works

I am trying to get my spell check work in outlook express and am using
windows x64, I have been told it does not work due to microsoft office
running on 32bit. Does anyone know if an update exsits to fix this problem.

There isn't a 64 bit version of Office. This article describes MS's current position on 64-bit computing with Office:

While Outlook Express is not part of MS Office, it is from Office that the spell check capabilities eminate and there is a known
issue with the spell checker in OE6.

You may also want to post in the Windows group on this as well as there may be compatability settings that will overcome some
problems.
