Is there any way to create a longer dropdown list in Word?

I want to make a dropdown list of surgical procedures for a constnt form in
which about 80 items would be listed and some of them would be longer than
the character limit. Is there a way to do this where the final printed form
does not show a box if an item is NOT selected?
