Is there someplace I can get tech support for Access

Tonya

I'm converting many forms from Visual dBase to Access and wondered if there
is somewhere I can get telephone support by the minute and get simple
questions answered immediately?

Hi Tonya,

I used to develop Visual Dbase apps which I later converted into Access, and
have been developing Access apps. I know of no such support, particularly
the type of support you're looking for (immediate answers to simple
questions by the minute). First of all, it's probably difficult for anyone
to make a living offering such support (How many people are out there
converting Visual Dbase to Access?). Second, converting a Visual Dbase to
Access (as you have found or will find out) is not simple. As a matter of
fact, it is practically a "rewrite" of the user interface.

Give this newsgroup a try. Or you can also search Google for archives of
people *converting* Visual Dbase to Access. If your questions were *really*
simple and you had listed them in your post, I probably would have had the
answers right now in this response to you.

Tonya,

Microsoft offers many product support options. I know that back not long ago
Microsoft had a no-waiting engineer assistance support line at $250 dollars
per call. However you should research your product support options against
your requirements at Microsoft Support Site at:

http://support.microsoft.com/

If you want instant support or assistance migrating your current database
solution, I would suggest to hire a temporary Access or database
consultant/specialist.
