Is this an EXCEL problem?

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

For some reasons, it just take forever to open a 52 columns * 200 rows file.
Some of the columns are hidden. I thought that I need more memory and I upgrade my iMac to 4 GB memory, but no improvement found whatsoever.

I move the files to a window environment and it is okay.. Saw notes about system freeze. Can microsoft check this out? I can share my file.

Yes, if you can share your file with us it would be a big help. You can send
it to me at (e-mail address removed).

Thanks,

Pat

Have dropped the excel file on Monday. Have you received it yet?

Was it weird? It ran okay on PC platform, but it is rediculusly slow on Mac.

Actually, I don't believe I received your file yet. Did you send it to me
directly, or via a file sharing service? Would you mind resending?

Thanks,

Pat

How can I put this file on a web file sharing place? any suggestion?

Google for "free file sharing service". You'll find a bunch of services
that offer free file sharing. Choose one. Register. Upload your file.
Send Pat the link.

Do you experience the same slowness as mine?
or it has something to do with the version used on iMac and window XP?
Thanks for the investigation.
