Is this possible?

I am a long time registered user of MS Office and quite sometime ago
upgraded to 2003. I generally like it very much especially Outlook. The
new version of Word however drives me crazy and seems to be very quirky. I
realize it is probably my fault as I don't use it enough to get used to the
new nuances. Is there a way I can use an older version of Word while
continuing to use the rest of Office 2003?

Thanks in advance... Bob

Yes. For a good while I used Office 2000, but had Outlook 2003 installed
for compatibility to work-based server.

The only downside I saw was sometimes the Updater wanted to update 2003
version apps that I didn't have installed - they failed and it wanted to try
again next time, and next time....
