Is VBA the answer to my % complete problem

A

Andrew

I have a very simple macro which works out the planned % complete relative to
the status date and puts it in a field for me. I then use the MSP actual %
column and compare the two. Works fine until the Summary Bar. I have posted a
question in the General section and I now fully understand how MSP works out
the % complete. Is there a VBA/Macro Genius out there who can help me
replicate how MSp works out the actual % and use it to give me the planned %
against a Summary Bar. My macro works out the % complete in a straight line
whilst MSp uses accumulated work content. This would have to be able to
differentiate between each section of work ie summary sub-set

Many thanks in advance

Try the link below. Select "MS Project tips and tricks..." Read my first
three papers and it explains all. You really do not need VB to do this,
formulas will work fine.

However, if you need a bid... (hee hee)
