is views notifications working?

Is there any way that I can monitor the server to know if
the viewsNotificationService is running properly?

I've hit incidences where I found, in the ViewDrop
directory, XML files that were 2 hours old.

There will soon be some tools released that will help monitor Project
Server 2003. Keep checking the MS downloads site.
