Is Visio 2003 compatible with Internet Explorer 7 and/or Firefox?

I am having problems on our intranet if the user is using Internet Explorer 7
or Firefox - it is working fine with Internet Explorer 6.
There are links from a Visio file to other files but the user just gets
error messages saying the file could not be found when they click on the link.
I am having to transfer the files across to the intranet via Dreamweaver.
