Is Visio Professional 2003 compatible with Visual Studio.NET 2003?

IOW, is the Visio that ships with Visual Studio.NET Enterprise Architect the
same, or should I use this version in conjunction with it?

VSNEA 2003 was shipped before Visio 2003 was released on Oct 21st, so VSNEA
2003 comes with Visio 2002.

If you install Visio 2003, you must leave Visio 2002 intact. The VSNEA
functions will be available through the version of Visio 2002 that came with
VSNEA, not Visio 2003.

So it is safe to install Visio 2003 with VSNEA? I ask only because I had a
nightmare of incompatibility problems with different versions of Visio prior
to Microsoft's acquiring them... couldn't even uninstall the friggin
things, even with reg hacks and wound up having to rebuild my system.

I'm hoping MS has solved this problem.
