Is Windows 98/Office 2000 online clip art available any more?

All of a sudden, I can no longer download online clip art to my projects.
What can I do to begin to be able to use clip art again? Is it only
supported by Office 2003? I only have Office 2000 on a Windows 98 computer.

Thank you for the encouragement. I used your link which brought up exactly
the same site that I have gotten before. When I used "download now", the
same error message showed and the download was aborted, "an unknown error
occured while attempting to create a thumbnail". I found out that I can copy
and paste, but not download. Is that all I can hope for, do you think?

You might try emptying your temporary internet files folder.

You might also try compacting your clip gallery catalog. Here are instrux
from the Clip Gallery Help file:

1.. Select any category or clip using the right mouse button
(right-click).
2.. On the shortcut menu, click Recover.
3.. Click Compact.
Note Compacting your Clip Gallery database will not remove clips from your
hard drive, but will only compact your primary Clip Gallery catalog, which
contains the thumbnail-sized clip previews and other clip property data. If
you want to remove installed clips from your computer to save space, you
must uninstall them using the application they were installed with. If you
want to remove user-imported clips you can delete them from Clip Gallery.

Compacting also performs many routine checks on your Clip Gallery data,
attempting to repair any data corruption in the primary Clip Gallery
catalog. If you experience problems such as corrupted data error messages or
missing clips, using Compact may resolve the problem.

Oh no! The image that I get when I copy and paste is very distorted. That
will never work. Any other ideas?

I FOUND MY WEB SITE CLIP ART DOWNLOADS!! They WERE on the hard drive, stored
in a clip art file under the heading of "Downloaded Clips" plus in a few
other categories. I was compacting my gallery as you suggested and was
amazed to open them to find them. I had always thought that those files
contained only a sampling of what you could get online, so I always went
straight to online. Especially when I never said "save" as I downloaded,
only "open". No matter, I'm back in business - thank you, thank you to you
both!

You are only copying the thumbnail, not the true clipart. You have to download the
clip for it to be properly displayed.
