hi,

thanks for your reply.

according to this website, http://www.mvps.org/project/
it said that microsoft doesn't comes out with any project viewer. but i
think there is some APIs to display the .mpp file on the web, right?

i played with Project Web Access today, from there, i can view the gantt
chart, the project that i published to the server. it displays the gantt
chart on asp page. i tried to read through the asp source code, but there are
too much, alot of include files, and i don't know them at all :(

1. in order to dispaly the .mpp file, isit i got to study all the source
codes. isit this is the only way???

2. lets say im able to solve the problem 1., so, isit i only can display the
chart which i already published to the server??if not mistaken, i think, when
we publish the project, it will insert all the related datat to SQL Server.
isit possible for me to display the chart on the web by jus using the .mpp
file.

3. last question, do u have any suggestion, or easier way to display out the
chart(.mpp) on the web???

im new to Project, and today is my second day in using Project :)
and now, im doing research on how to display the gantt chart on the web, so,
hope you all can help me out on this.

thanks :)

Hi Liu,

If the HTML pages and gif insert is not good enough for you, then you'll
need code to do what you want.

Perhaps a vba expert can carry this along?
