Isses with formating between presentations.

I have been having some issues with master slide formating between two
presentations.

My dilema is that I have been trying to split apart a presentation and apply
a new format to it. I set the master slide up in the new presentation and
saved it as a design template. I went to the presentation that I needed to
break apart and I applied the design template that I saved.

The problem in copying the text from the old presentation to the new one all
of the text becomes bold.

True I can just hit ctrl+b and undo it but I have a thousand slides to do
and It would save me a lot of time if I can find the solution.

I am using powerpoint 2003.

You may need to "Reapply" the layout to each slide to make sure that it takes
on the new template layout. View > Slide Layout (use the drop down menu in
your selected thumbnail to Reapply Layout.)
