Issue opening up excel 2003 document on network

We have an excel spreadsheet that some users cant open up when they try the
screen stays gray but at the bottom it says ready this is also happening on
the terminal server session we are currently using version 8105.8107 SP2 on
the terminal server if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.
