Out of the blue yesterday the Groove Issue Tracking tool that we use
to log tech calls stopped working. I can view the list of tickets in
the top grid, but where the details usually show, it now shows a blank
window. I right-click and "view source", and see a bunch of
javascript, but no actual data.

I can still see all contacts, and all other tools seem to be working
fine. Only the issue tracking tool will not show the form with
details. Nothing has changed in our network security either.

Hi David

I don't know why its gone wrong for you but you can try this:

1: Back up the original space to an archive

2: Export all your data.
3: Create a test space and add the issue tracking tool to it.
4: Add some data to confirm it works. IF it doesn't then this is going to be
a challenge.
5: Import your data from step 2
6: Confirm it looks good.
7: Add the Issue tracking tool to the original space
8: Import the data
9: Confirm it looks good.

If the test copy of the issue tracking tool looks screwy, you can invite me
to your space via email ans I'll see what I can do.

I don't like to hate Microsoft and MS Office, but its junk like this
that just pushes my buttons. I'm the only person in the world to whom
this has ever happened?

The "Discussion" and "Issue Tracking" tools are now unusable by me. I
tried creating a new workspace, and the default discussion tool
doesn't work (I try New->"1. Topic" and get a blank white screen). No
error message. No indication of what is going on.

Is there ANY place where I might find an error message somewhere? Any
indication in groove that maybe perhaps some proxy somewhere in our
network is breaking? I don't use IE, but perhaps its security
settings are screwing up the rendering/retrieving of the data? I'm
falling way behind in my ticket processing and if we can't fix this,
then its bye-bye Groove.

Hi David -

I can understand your frustration. Try installing IE 7, if you don't have it
already. If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall Grove, leaving your
account in place.

I have the same problem with discussions and issue tracking - the
lower display page is not rendering so there is no functionality - is
there a solution?

Hi David,

I have the same problem with issue tracking and discussions. Did you
find a solution?
