Hello Friends,
I am facing continiously the error with several of project while
trying to Save project on Project server 2007.
Error "The File Can not be saved, checkout teh file name and path are
correct, check that the format is recognised by the project, project
file saved in a version earlier than microsoft project 98can't be
opened."
Even in my environemnet all the project created in MPP 2007 (.mpp)
format.
- I have only one solution that I need to locally saved file and than
save it again on the server. but this is not feasible because while
trying to save file from local file than Task Guid get changed and I
am using timesheeting for the same project.
- If I am trying to svae project locally on XML format where I have
many issue while overwirtting on existing project i.e. Baseline1 -10
data deleted, Task guid got changed.
Could you help me with a simple method by which I can resolve this
issue.
