Issue with Hover Buttons and Ad Banner Controls

On our IIS6 web server, these controls don't appear to be working. For
example, the Ad Banner control
just shows up as a white box and says to click to activate control, but
nothing happens.

When I'm editing the site with FP2000 and use the Preview tab, things appear
okay. I'm thinking it
could be a permissions issue on the server.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Not a server problem, this relates to your browser. You must have a
Java Virtual Machine installed to see the hover buttons and banner ad
manager, and in IE they must be activated by clicking or pressing Enter
before they can be used.

It is best not to use Java components such as these in web pages because
may users do not have the JVM installed, or have it disabled for
security reasons.

I have the Sun JVM installed and running, will the control not work with the
Sun JVM?

It should - but do your browser settings allow Java to run?
And if your pages are for the Internet, have you thought of those that
do not have Java installed?

Yes they do, and since this is a corporate Intranet site I'm not too worried
about what people on the Internet may have installed. :)
