Issue with reminders still coming back

I have a users once they dismiss a reminder and it prompts again. He is
Outlook 2003 w/ SP2. It happens on all meetings, and I think it happens on
meetings regardless of whether he is the organizer or participant. We ran
the /cleanreminders command line and we tried recreate the OST file.
After we recreated the OST file the reminders stopped popping up but then
they returned.

Any recommendations other then recreating the Outlook profile?
