Issue with silent installation for Office 2007 Suite

Hi all,

have following issue with silent installation:

1. Used the new OCT tool to create a office patchfile for Office pro version.

--> all works fine

2. Did the same for OneNote, Project Pro and Visio

--> Setup fails in the log is following error:


Setup was aborted. Setup customization files are not supported on this
Microsoft Office product type. Run Setup again without using a Setup
customization file. This customization file may be located in the Updates
folder of the installation image.
Not showing message because suppress modal has been set. Title: 'Setup
Error', Message: 'Setup was aborted. Setup customization files are not
supported on this Microsoft Office product type. Run Setup again without
using a Setup customization file. This customization file may be located in
the Updates folder of the installation image.'
Message returned: 1
Error: OCTPatch is not allowed . Type: OCTPatchForbidden.

Is this a volume or enterprise edition of the Office 2007 program? Retail versions (available via the $1.50 download) cannot be installed in that manner.

Not sure if it is a bug or some undocumented feature.
