issue with the print grid option

When the user clicks the print grid button he get the following error message:

there was an error loading the in-line xml data island.
xml document must have top level element
line 0
position 0
source

-using the excel option works fine
-only one client having issue
-user has admin level access
-issue seems isolated to user's desktop

any hints would be beneficial thanks.

no but i'll try the latest xml 3 and xml 4 versions or is there one specific
version you recommend ? Our standard desktop OS is W2k and IE6 is running.
Our server side is server2003 and Sql 2000 sp3.

Well Gary NO luck. I tried version 3.0 then version 4.0 and they are supposed
to be able to run in tandem without issue. I tried modifying the browser
security settings and updating the jvm as well. Any other ideas ???

Well, the next likely suspects are Office Web Components, if you have the
qualifying Office application on the workstation, is the correct version of
OWC installed? Does the workstation have the latest version of MDAC? Are
there security settings that are interfering with data access?

upraded to mdac 2.8, checked security settings and still no go. I'll look at
OWC version and see where that takes me.
