Issues/Documents in Project Server 2002

We have a situation where an issue is created in PWA, but
Project Server doesn't recognize the sender's email when
notifying the person issue assigned to. This really
creates confusion since Project Server is sending the
notification message from the default sender e-mail
address and e-mail message under the notification and
reminders screen, which is a static page that doesn't
contain the list of every one email address so it can
recognize whose email to be used as sender of the
notification. Does anyone have and idea on why this
occurs and what can be done about it?

If the Global Enterprise Pool has the users windows
account and email specified, the emails will be sent
without any problems. We are even using GroupWise
without any problems.

In the company email address_line, we entered the same
STMP mail server address, but doesn't work. We even tried
different address, still doesn't work. It's only taking
the "From Address" as notification & reminder' sender,
wich creates so much confusion!! Glad to hear from
someone else on the same issue.
