Issues Log

I'm trying to find the link between Project Server and the
Issues log. I've identified the tables where the issues
reside, but cannot find how sharepoint determines which
project the issues belong to. Thanks.

The issues log is part of the SharePoint server. In
Microsoft Project, along with the tasks assigned to your
project, you can assign issues that come up that must be
attended to. We have been able to access the tables that
Microsoft Project uses to assign tasks to a project, but
the issues log uses a different database. We can access
the issues log data, but are unsure how they link each
issue to the project set up in Microsoft Project.
