Issues tracking with Project Server2002

Brenda

We are beginning to use the issues tracking and document
features of the package. Sharepoint Team Services is also
installed and working. The problem is, on the Issues page
we are not getting totals in the Active, Postponed,
Closed columns. I have looked everywhere I can think of
and can't find where I can edit this view.

This indicates that the sts reader account you're using in COM+ does not
have the correct data access permissions. You're likely to see problems
elsewhere because of this as well. Double check the SQL rights for this
account. It must have public and datareader role. Also verify that the
identity is properly established in COM+

The OLAP account has a very different set of rights requirements both on the
server and in SQL. It sure sounds to me like your 'database guys' may not
know what they're doing when it comes to Project Server. Maybe you can get
one of them to join the conversation and we'll get it sorted out. I should
also point out that the requirements are well-documented in the installation
guide.
