Issues when publishing a powerpoint online

I noticed that when I saved my presenation as a webpage and tried to publish
online there were some issues:
- single quotes were turned into question marks
- bullets were formatted differently -- some looked like an easel with a
paintbrush through it. some were question marks.

any suggestions?
