I have a situation where I am entering actuals for a task
and an assignment directly into the SQL database
(MSP_TASKS and MSP_ASSIGNMENTS tables). Everything works
fine and shows up correctly when opened in MS Project
with the correct values, as long as the task is NOT 100%
complete.
However, if the task is 100% complete, the work still
comes in correctly, but I lose all the duration values,
and the task shows up as a milestone. All the data is in
the database as I expect it to be, but when MS Project
opens the particular project, the task opens with 0
duration and 0 actual duration and no actual finish
date. The percent complete and work percent complete
show up as 99% (instead of 100%).
I have the actual start and actual end dates, and all
information with respect to the amount of work done.
Does anyone have any ideas what I'm missing?
