It takes too long time to start the HELP facility

Why does it often take so lloonngg time to start the HELP facility in any MS
Office-2000 program (Word, Excel, Access, VBA editor) ? Sometimes it does
not start at all - but the CPU is used 100 %. In this case I have to kill
the process. It seems to be a general problem since several of my colleagues
have the same problem.

Any idea what is wrong ?

Are you up to date with Office service packs? Do you have any Word add-ins
installed?

I am using :
Windows XP.
Office-2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3).
Word add-ins : Word is not running. I still have problems with help for VBA
in Excel.
