Italicizing Words Between Parenthesis (?)

croy

I have a text document with a lot of scientific names in
parenthesis.

I have opened the file in MS Word 2000, and saved it as a
Word file. I would like to italicize all the scientific
names and the parenthesis that isolate them, but am stumped
as to how to go about this.

Anyone?

In that case:

1. In the Replace dialog, click More and check the box for "Use wildcards."

2. In the "Find what" box, type

\(*\)

3. In the (empty) "Replace with" box, press Ctrl+I. (You'll see Format:
Font: Italic beneath the box.)

4. Replace All.
