Italics problem, can no one figure this out?

Everything is in italics.

Italics is not invoked.

There is no way I can find to get rid of the italics.

The Italics button shows the cells are not in italics.

"Format cells" shows the cells are in italics

Nonetheless, everything is always in italics.

How frustrating!!!!!!

I've had this problem. It happened after I install a
certain program. (Mailers). Anyhow, I fixed it by going
into the Control Panel/Fonts and deleting all of the Arial
Fonts. Re install the fonts by copying them from another
computer that hasn't been affected, or download them from
Microsoft. (Not sure where though sorry). Hope this
helps.
