Items sent not being saved

My items that are sent are not being placed into the sent items folder. I
have made sure the check mark is out of do not save sent items. We are using
workstations with no exchange server.

If you don't CHECK the "Save copies of sent items in the sent items folder"
they will not be saved. Recheck it. There is no "do not save" box in my
Outlook 2003.

Had it the other way around. The box is checked to save items to the sent
folder.

How many items are in your sent items folder? If over 16000, you will need
to delete or archive some to make room for more.
