Items won't delete

Help Please

Hi,

I'm tell Outlook to delete the e-mail that I have read,
but the e-mail will not go away. Am I missing a command
somewhere? Thanks for your time!

What happens when you try? Do you get any notices? What version of
Outlook? What type of account?
