Japanese chars on a western system

Hello,

great forum!! :)

I would like to know why one can not write Japanese characters in th
subject line when writing emails in Outlook XP.

The Japanese IME 2000 is installed on my machine on a Windows X
system. I can write Japanese characters in the body only.

Also the characters can be inserted into the address book.

But when i want to display the overview of all the contacts he addres
book becomes a mess.

Do I need some sort of plugin or install another program from th
install CD ?
