Japanese Handheld Sync for Entourage 2004

I just installed Office 2004 and want to sync my Clie NX70V (Japanese
version), but I'm not having any success. Since I want to preserve my
Japanese language information, I downloaded the Japanese version of the
Entourage Handheld Sync from the Mactopia web site - the one that states "
version 10.1.4 works with Microsoft Office v. X 10.1.2 Update or later." but
when I try to adjust the settings in the Hotsync Manager, the entourage
conduit does not respond when I double click on it. (I want to have
Entourage's contacts overwrite Clie's, and the Clie's calendar to overwrite
Entourage's). I backed up and tried syncing anyway, and although the log
indicated a successful Entourage sync, it completed in less than 5 seconds
and no data actually changed. Any ideas what is going on or how to fix it?

The conduit available at the Mactopia web site is only for Entourage X. The
installer for the Entourage 2004 Handheld Synchronization conduit is
available in the "Additional Tools" subfolder within the "Microsoft Office
2004" folder. It should also be available on the Office 2004 CD. Once you
install that you should be able to synchronize with your Clié.

If you cannot, you might want to try The Missing Sync for Palm OS. It
claims to work with Sony Clié and other Palm OS devices that HotSync Manager
doesn't work with.
